The All American Rejects new video, Gives You Hell, despite it's incredible presentation, is an overall disappointment. I actually can count off a great many things I love about this video, most of which concern the excellent set and directing. However, I feel by far their greatest problem is the lack of uniquely drawn difficulties set between the characters. By which I mean, originality is not to blame, it's the very limited number of laughs the video delivers. Since the All American Rejects have portrayed their video as a comedy, I will judge it as such. And this video delivers about as many laughs as The Drew Carey Show has original jokes about Drew Carey being fat.
