Christina Aguilera's newest video started out decent with a bright set and color coordination that panned out well with the feel of the music. It doesn't take long for the video to become nonsensical and on the whole feels very pointless. It is one of the videos that is only made for the sake of making a video. Christina's lip syncing usually is very good and soulful but in "Keeps Getting Better" it just comes across as a second thought. The wardrobe is absolutely horrendous, crossing frames with super heroes, super sluts, and cow girls. The video hardly reflects upon what she is citing in her lyrics, which isn't uncommon these days, but still doesn't help with the video's randomness problems. The redeeming qualities are that the filming quality is sometimes spot on (especially in the main location), and due to the random encounters and effects, the video doesn't get boring. Other than that, the only people that will really enjoy this video are Christina fans and people who like bright and shiny things.
