Yet another entry into Gym Class Heroes MusicVideology, which brings the group up to an average of about three videos per week. In all seriousness, the music video "Guilty as Charged" is fairly well done and stays pretty entertaining. It takes it's inspiration straight from 60's and 70's cop dramas and vigilante law setter movies. We have seen this idea before in videos like "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys, and the concept is starting to get stale. Lucky for Travis, he is a likable character whether he's being a rapper or a nun-chuck wielding badass. The sets are suitable and the wardrobe is ridiculous but also complements the video. Some of the negatives in this video are that it's too long, which other Gym Class Heroes videos have suffered from before and there are too many times where you have no idea what is going on or end up forgetting character motives. However, the video doesn't take itself seriously so it isn't that much of a gripe.
Gym Class Heroes manages to make another entertaining video that is a nice distraction from some of the crap we've been seeing lately. It may be a cliched topic but Travis still shines through what would otherwise be a dull video.
