I don't think anybody but Jay Z could make a Road Warrior video and get away with it. "Run This Town" has a post apocalyptic setting that stands out among other music videos. The intro of this video is good enough to be a Hollywood trailer (well almost). The camera work and cinematography in this video does a good job of keeping up with the songs pace. The costumes, and Rihanna costumes in particular, reflect the overall feel of the song and bring a strong road warrior vibe. The only thing I really wanted to see was some kind of progression, the intro had a big build up and it just kinda petered out. Not every video has to have some kind of story, but it would be nice to see some changing of locations based upon a progression in the video. Overall this is one of the more enjoyable videos I have seen lately, and a video including Jay Z, Kanye West and Rihanna I think most will agree with me.
