After watching 3 bad Lady Gaga videos I didn't think there would ever be a good one. After watching Paparazzi I can say that I was wrong. Paparazzi is leaps and bounds better than her others and is very entertaining. The two minute opening could be cut down to only a minute, but it is still very beautifully shot and has the best camera work in the whole video. The extras and backup dancers still plague the video with laughable performances. What really sets Paparazzi apart from her other videos is two things: a story and great dancing. Yes! Finally this is Lady Gaga's best dance performance and also, quite deserving, the best part of the video. The swan costumed performance was a phenomenal dance sequence, that fit well with the video. Not to mention the crutch dance was both abstract and was well suited with Lady Gaga's weirdness.

This video earns the extra points. The story is probably a bit too confusing but still entertaining. The outfits are weird and fit well with the video. The dancing was well choreographed. And finally Lady Gaga looked hot while doing it, which is always a plus. She still has room for improvement, but this is a great stride in her music video career.
